キューバの国営レーベルから発売された革命関連のドキュメンタリー・シリーズ「コノスカ・クーバ」の中の一本で、チェの人生にスポットをあてたもの。イタリアの新聞記者Lilliana Bucelliniのドキュメンタリー書をベースに、チェの誕生からボリビアでの死までを丁寧に追ったのもです。キューバ国営会社の制作ということで、他では使われることのない革命軍の貴重な映像を多く使っています。『チェ、28歳の革命』『チェ39歳別れの手紙』の実際の映像版ともいえる内容です。DVDはリージョン：ALL/PALの為、対応機もしくは、PCでの視聴となります。
さらに特典として革命やチェにまつわる楽曲を、キューバの一流アーティストが演奏した14曲入りＣＤもついています。

Este documental esta basado en un libro de la periodista italiana Lilliana Bucellini, que narra la vida de Ernesto Che Guevara desde su nacimiento hasta su asesinato en Bolivia. Constituye el mas amplio compendio audiovisual que sobre la vida del Che se ha realizado, donde se incluyen imagenes ineditas tomadas a el antes y despues del triunfo de la Revolucion Cubana, asi como fragmentos de sus discursos mas memorables y entrevistas.

This documentary film is based on a book by Italian journalist Lilliana Bucellini. It features the life of Ernesto Che Guevara from his birth to his assassination in Bolivia. The documentary is thus far the largest audiovisual compilation about the life of Che Guevara, which also includes unpublished images of Che before and after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, excerpts of his most important speeches as well as interviews granted by him.
